I just shared this to Facebook as a small group test to see if I’m still banned. I reformed myself, and did not show the offensive image there, but I am showing it here, so I suppose this is also a test of Substack. Perhaps I’m not held to the same whoopdee high standards as FB.
“‼️The following is a test of the emergency posting and INGSOC system. Am I still banned here?
I was banned from groups for 3 days, and from monetizing my account for 90 days 👊🏻🫡 🤡 due to commenting on an A.I. image of Jesus with an image of his absolute doppelgänger, a bad, bad man. No, not Trump! Trump doesn’t look like Jesus. Trump looks like Trump, a 6’3”, flaming Rumplestiltskin. No, a bad BAD man. The man responsible for 911. Yes, that guy. Creepy tall guy in a turban? Very deathy? I can’t say his name. Like charades: sounds like “Obama been Rotten’.” The comparison between Jesus and Creepy Murdering Terrorist Death Guy defies description because you can’t see it unless you see it, but if I show it, it will toss me back in jail, and I’ve already been in jail for a few things, like last September, posting book pics allowed in children’s school libraries, but not allowed here, and in November, a 10 second clip of Hamas parading a woman (her legs show) on the back of their truck.
You know, gotta say: on Facebook, it has been fine — not just tolerated but applauded, to display 10/7 paragliders as freedom fighters, to show “peaceful” protesters chasing J*ws into a barricaded library in NYC, to taunt and torment J*ws across Canada, to laud children stomping through school hallways in California yelling “from the river to the sea,” to celebrate people chanting “g*s the J*ws!” in Australia, and people beating the sh*t out of J*ws around the world, after October 7. [Edit: To be honest, the sharing of images of Gaza and babies covered in blood and ashes probably have been deleted, too, and those accounts warned or banned.]
It’s been fine since the dawn of Mark Zuckerberg creating a 2004 Face Book for girls he’d like to f*ck at Harvard, since long before my troubles began on FB, to harass, stalk, and doxx people’s home addresses, to call for people be*t the sh*t out of them wherever they are, and to brandish A*47s when the name Karen is invoked.
Do I want to lose my “freedom of speech” on FB by posting pictures of A.I. Jesus side by side with “Obama Been Rotten?” Well not really. I’d prefer to keep it, and keep being mildly subversive. But we can’t keep all good things. Anyway, for today, I prefer to stay on FB, and not post the pictures.
It will break the algorithm.”
But the larger question is, does blocking an image of a mass murdering terrorist cleanse 911 from history? Of course not. I’m not affirming or promoting Al Qaeda or any form of terror. Why should I even have to say that? Should I have been banned because a robot, and then an appeals team, presumably another robot, thought I promoted hate? Does tearing down a statue of a confederate soldier erase history? Did moving a boulder on the campus of University of Wisconsin-Madison, because in 1925 it had the N word painted on it, remove racism? It’s not a template for reflection, insight, or deep thought, as far as I’m concerned.
EDIT: here are the images that Facebook banned me for. I’ve since cropped in on bin Laden’s face and flipped it but done nothing else to it. All I knew was that, with Jesus, A.I. seemed to be up to something. It must have used a model template. Where did it get that face? That’s all I meant to ask.
And no, I’m very glad that the above enemy of America was taken out. I’m not a fan of “Obama been Rotten.” I am a fan of Jesus. But it’s a little tough to pick the right one out in a crowd.
So now, I simply ask, in all sarcasm, if you want to laugh at this post, please touch your choice of Facebook’s laughing emoji. The new kinder one on the left, or the old mean one on the right.
