Thanks for opening the link! This three and a half minute short-short story has a lot going on in it. Hope it’s not confusing! Because it’s transitional, readers may wonder what happens before and after it. Although I caulked in some explanatory words, it still may sound contextually hungry.
So here’s more: the school year is ending. Kids are sick of it. Mr. O’Shea has stomach problems because he is overwhelmed by legal paperwork made impossible by overlords sabotaging it.
So he takes them to play basketball. They have fun, and he throws up terrible shots (bricks). Then he sits on the bleachers and writes up a dummy IEP (individual education plan), because he cannot observe his own student.
It was fun. I hope it’s relatable!
